Bad during the day
Too much time staring at screens = too much blue light. This causes eye strain, fatigue, headaches, dry eyes and blurry vision. Blue = boo.
Worse at night
Blue light makes your body clock go funny. It blocks melatonin – the thing that reminds your body when it’s time to go to sleep.
Below 380nm-450nm
The most potent harmful blue light is known as high energy visible light (HEV), which induces retinal damage and contributes towards inflammation of the skin. It also contributes to symptoms such as eye strain and headaches.
Between 470-500nm
Blue light between 470-500nm is known generally as "good" blue light useful for various treatments and can help regulate sleep patterns.
That's why we created Ocushield
Block harmful blue light with the world's only medically-rated products.
